Abalone Lure Skins

Give a chipped, faded lure an iridescent abalone-shell finish in under 60 seconds. Slip the skin over the lure and dip it in boiling water; it shrinks tight to the shape. No need to remove hooks or hardware.

Install: Cut the skin to length if needed, slip it over the lure with the hardware on, then dip in boiling water until it shrinks tight. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight until use; temperatures above 280°F will damage the skin.
